10 Reasons to Have a Plan

Filed under Small Business, Strategy, Venture Capital and Start Ups on January 18, 2012

If you were going on vacation, you would think through the following:

  1. Where do I want to go?
  2. Is it crowded?
  3. How am I going to get there?
  4. Can I afford it?
  5. Should I seek advice on what to do, where to stay etc.?
  6. Should I invite a friend?
  7. What do I need to bring with me?
  8. Do I need a passport and/or visa?
  9. What do I do when I get there?
  10. How do I get home?

You wouldn’t go away without asking yourself these questions You may not have every day planned out, but you would have an itinerary, reservations, money in the bank or an available credit card and rough idea of what you were going to do.
